Whether you’re a seasoned or "just starting to get healthy" athlete with a goal to get fit, a corporate group looking for a way to help African children or a family in search of an enjoyable outing that benefits an AIDS charity, Climb Up offers challenges of all types.
Our most popular event is Climb Up Kilimanjaro, with teams scheduled throughout the year. Whether you are an individual, part of a corporate team or are wanting to reach the Roof of AFrica with a good friend, there is an amazing experience awaiting you. Through our partnership with Summit Expedition and Nomadic Experiences (SENE), we are able to offer you the best possible time in Kilimanjaro. With organic food, a stay at the Mbahe Farm Cottages, and stellar guiding services, this is a trip to remember.
If you are interested in joining an existing team or want to go on a customized trip, please don't hesitate to contact us. And, check out the short presentation from the October 2011 Women's Team.
Climb Up the World takes place on various dates throughout the year. These events range from climbing gym days to a walk in Nigeria or a hike in a park. We are quite flexible and will work with you to create a fun event that will get you outdoors and will help save lives in Africa. Teams or individuals or all ages and abilities participate anywhere you happen to be.
During the period Oct 10-13, 2013, NC Outdoors Festival is the place to be. A chance to enjoy the beauty and adventure of NC and a chance to participate in outdoor rock climbing and rappelling clinics, yoga, slack line and ariel dance. And not only is there is this, there will be good food, and beer/wine tasting. A portion of the proceeds will help us at AFCA as we support more children. The folks at Solid Rock Climbers for Christ are another group that supports our work in Africa. Every year, climbers face challenges at Chandlers Mountain Challenge and raise funds for our kiddos. If you are in the area in February, be sure to join these climbers in having fun and saving lives.
